Low cost nonweighted our stainless weight version of our 2212 weighted flap. Our black set back mud flaps are manufactured using 14 gauge steel for rigidity versus competitors 18 gauge steel that leaves the flap swaying because the steel is not thick enough. We finish coat our set back by spraying on a polyurea coating that encapsulates the steel. Powder coating quickly loses paint on the tire side when driving on gravel roads starting the rust process quickly.The setback assembly positions the mud flap 2 inches behind the wheel well opening.Our black set back mud flaps are manufactured using 14 gauge steel for rigidity versus competitors 18 gauge steel that leaves the flap swaying because the steel is not thick enough.
